  1. Diorama Scene Mr. Reiner .

  2. Webster's Unabridged Dictionary defines "diorama" as:"a miniature scene, wholly or partially three-dimensional, depicting figures in a naturalistic setting." How will you create your scene about the subject of your biography or historical fiction book? .

  3. “Upon first viewing Chandor Chasma through the Mars diorama glass, visitors to Space Odyssey may initially feel as though they have been transported to another planet.” .

  4. How did they do it? “The photo mural is copied from an historic photo, enlarged to meet the model's scale, hand-painted to blend in, and trimmed to fit.” Colored sand, toy cars, plastic horses, felt, cloth, clay, popsicle sticks, Legos, stickers, thread, grass, branches, bark, toothpicks, and construction paper have been used in the past to create dioramas. .

  5. Expectation Highlights cont. • The diorama is exceptionally attractive in terms of design, layout, and neatness. • I did 75% of the artwork and writing for this diorama. The diorama is kind of like the illustrations in the book or on the cover.

  6. Expectation Highlights • First and last name of person (or the underlined title of the book) is centered on the top and in the middle of the box. • Does not have to be typed, but will look more attractive to the eye.
