  1. Diorama Project Dioramas are three-dimensional scenes. Do you know what 3-D means?

  2. Student pairs or trios choose a country from the North Africa / Middle East region.

  3. They research the culture and topography of “their” country.

  4. Using a shoe box and other materials, the students “create” their research 3-dimensionally.

  5. Here are some examples of finished products.

  6. To be successful, you need to: • Stay focused on your project. • Share in the work. • Cooperate with your partner(s). • Don’t be bossy.

  7. To be successful, you need to: • Discuss and share ideas. • Report uncooperative partners to Mr. Miller. • Plan before you start creating things to put in your box!

  8. To be successful, you need to: • Plan before you attach things to your box. Follow Directions Carefully!
