Walking like an Egyptian (Egyptian daily life) *The whole egyptian family lived in the same house. * JOBS WERE FARMERS, CRAFTSPEOPLE, SOLDIERS, SCRIBES,PRIESTS AND PRIESTESS. *When the Nile river floods the water helps people grow food and raise crops *Everyone could drink wine *Egyptians made bread and had two different types. *mudbrick homes

The Hieroglyphics! *The earliest known hieroglyphs were used for records *Most of the direction read was left to right *At the end, there were more than 5,000 glyphs * By the 4th century, very few egyptians could read hieroglyphics * Although hieroglyphs were beautiful, they took very long to write, so the egyptians switched to demotic writing *Although vowels were said, they weren’t used unless a word began with a vowel *Glyphs consisted of 3 types of glyphs, phonetic, logographs and ???
