Talking points • What is the value of creating this partnership? • Channel 15 will become “The Student Channel” instead of just a place to show movies • Students can use the channel as a place to express their opinions in a positive and creative way • Training by PCAtv staff is a FREE value added service open to ANY student who wishes to receive it • Campus programming will eventually be carried to a larger COUNTY WIDE and GLOBAL audience…when PCAtv goes on the air
Talking points • How can Campus Activities Board become involved with this project? • Step I – you’ve already taken it by allowing PCAtv time to make this presentation • Step II – announce to student body that training will be provided on a first come first served basis to all students who want to produce shows • Step III – determine time slots for new student created programming on Channel 15 • Step IV – begin airing programs
Talking points • What are some long term lasting effects of a collaboration with PCAtv? • You will be known as the group that gave campus its voice (visually…) • Your efforts will promote a better way of campus life for future students • You will leave behind a legacy that channel 15 was more than just a “movie channel”, but an electronic forum for students to express themselves in a positive and creative manner
Now what? Please consider this question… “Will having this opportunity help create a richer campus experience for students?”
We Hope So! This presentation is also available on the PCAtvwikispace page http://pcatv.wikispaces.com/PRESENTATIONS
