August 2012 Update-Allergy Editor • “ Add NKA” button, used to quickly add “ No Known Allergies” record into the resident profile.
August 2012 Update-Allergy Editor • Fix inactive ‘ OK’ Button when searching for residents in the Allergy Editor.
August 2012 Update-Assessments 1. Resolved saving and printing issues with the 10-10SH form

August 2012 Update- Disease Editor • Fixed an issue with Overview/Dx By Application display. Previously, when more than one record had the same date (i.e. Rehab Profiles) their Dx codes could get mixed up between records
August 2012 Update- Disease Editor • 2. MSSQL only- fixed an issue with Dx codes saved from CarePlan. Previously, a new Dx history record was inserted after each save even when the Dx code did not change.
August 2012 Update- Docs Manager Added ability to rotate scanned images .

August 2012 Update- MDS • Added Federal 672 2012 set (similar to already added 802 2012 set)
August 2012 Update- MDS • Added a new FED 672 (2012) and FED 802 Printouts
August 2012 Update- MDS • Added “ Check for Errors in Federal Profile Set” system parameter at the system and facility levels in MDS 3 Category. • Note: This parameter controls what set of fields in federal profiles (both 672 and 802) is affected by error checking. Possible values are “All”, “2010” and “2012”. The default value is “2010” and as long as “2010” is set, the “2012” set won’t have to be fully completed in order to make the profile error-free and lockable.
August 2012 Update-MDS • Added option to the Federal 672 and 802 screens that enables users to update profiles from any existing MDS. Note: The "Insert" button now has two actions assigned, Insert when there is no profile created yet, and Update when the profile already exists.
August 2012 Update- MDS • Updated the Federal 672 crosswalk to match current CMS specs • Added new CAA printouts
August 2012 Update- MDS • Added third page to CAA printout for Section 20 ‘ Supporting Documentation’
August 2012 Update-MDS • Added MDS Setup 'CAA WS Crosswalk' module to the EMR Setup tab that enables users to maintain their own CAA WS Crosswalks. Note: System administrator need to first enable specific roles to maintain CAA WS crosswalks in Optimum Security before users can set CAA WS Crosswalks.

August 2012 Update- MDS • Users can now lock specific CAA worksheets without locking an entire MDS section.Note: System administrators needs to first enable specific roles to lock CAA worksheets in Optimum Security before users can lock CAA worksheets. • -Added Parameter to enable locking/ unlocking MDS CAA sections

August 2012 Update- MDS • Added CMI 2012 Table for Washington State • Added a button on MDS History screen that invokess a RUG-IV cheat sheet.
August 2012 Update- MDS • Added the CMI tab to MDS Data Entry screen that has all RUG scoring information broken down into three separate sections: RUG Data, RUG-IV Chart & SOT/Short Stay Info. • Note: New tab inside MDS Entry screen, with all the information related to RUG scoring. It contains all the MDS fields taking part in RUG calculation, and lets simulating the RUG score change by changing these fields. This new tab also contains information about Short Stay conditions and Start of Therapy AAA score
August 2012 Update- MDS • Added a missing CAA Field “ Moisture associated skin damage ( M1040H)” in CAA Section 18.

August 2012 Update- MDS • Added Sulfonamides, Trimethoprim, Aminoglycosides, Tetracyclines and Agents to Treat Resistant Gram Positive Organisms ( i.e. Bactrim, Tobramycin, Vancomycin, Declomycin ) to Orders-MDS interface (field N0410F).
August 2012 Update- MDS • The 'Native Hawaiian/Pacific Islander' race can be auto-populated from Optimum Financials
August 2012 Update- MDS • When records with non-PPS flag are submitted , the A2400 fields (i.e., Most recent Medicare Stay) in submission file will be set as follows: • A2400A= ‘0’ ( No) • A2400B= ‘^’ ( blank) • A2400C= ‘^’ ( blank)
August 2012 Update- MDS • Added 14200 so it triggers the Dementia checkmark on the CMI Report
August 2012 Patches • “You can’t select a section while one of its fields is signed by other person ( no rights)” error message no longer shows up multiple times when clicking a section in the sign off page that has an item signed by other users. Fixed the multiple appearance of a warning message when attempting to sign more than one fields at once
August 2012 Update- MDS • CAA Worksheet field labels displayed on screen are no longer cropped.
August 2012 Update- MDS Section D0500 now grays out in the MDS Editor when an unplanned discharge is selected for a resident and B0100 field is not filled out.
August 2012 Update- MDS • Demographic fields from Section A now copy to next MDS even after they are cleared out.
