  2. Bellwork Get out the discussion questions you copied yesterday. If you haven’t already, then go ahead and make some notes in response to one of the statements. This does not have to be organized into a paragraph; it is okay if you just make some bulleted notes. Do discuss more than one character as examples.

  3. Discussion Questions When parental love and approval is absent, the approval of friends may be a substitute, but never a wholly satisfactory substitute. Peer pressure from your group can force you to be someone you do not want to be. Many people do make judgments about people based on stereotypes that exist in their minds.
