  2. 1/27/2009 [3 min] WARM UP • What is the difference between situational irony and dramatic irony? Give me one example of both types of irony. • What does the word ominous mean? • Tell me at least 5 ominous signs that the Titanic was doomed to sink. Timer

  4. Don’t be a Titanic failure! NO NOTES • Today, we finish “Titanic.” • You will do silent reading (participation grade). • At the end, answer the questions on the next slide. • Finished early? Do work from other classes, or work quietly on something else. • The last 10 minutes of class are reserved for watching clips from the movie to help visualize what happens.
