Place Value • All numbers have a value. Some numbers contain more value than others. • For example: • Ones place: 1 • Tens place: 10 • Hundreds place: 100 • Thousands place: 1,000
Greater than and Less than • Numbers have different values • Some have greater valuesthan others and some are less in value than others • For example: Greater than symbol: > Less than symbol: < Equal to: =
