  3. Evangelism... Part of ‘our calling’ because deep in our identity Instinctively ‘good’ at evangelism?

  4. Evangelism... We’re not very good at it. Could we and should we? We should and we could! But ‘apt and appropriate’ evangelism is most needed

  5. Evangelism... copping out and under conviction? The key ‘outcome question’ recruitment.... to what?

  6. Evangelism... ‘kingdom focus and values’ discipleship better than ‘conversion’ but conversion is not all bad! a discipleship movement shaped for mission....

  7. Evangelism... In a rainbow church of colour and variety... Apologetics.... Social justice... Worship... ‘Methodist evangelism at its best...’

  8. Evangelism: moods and times • You will! • Will you? • Please will you? • Will you pretty please? • Why wont you? • Why wouldn’t you (want to)? • ‘Naah, you wouldn’t want to! • What’s that you say?

  9. Evangelism... A disproportionate amount of resources.... The Spirit wants apt and appropriate evangelism too!

  10. Outcomes... Conversation, speaking about God, listening for the (quiet) loud voices Focus on things that hinder, trust the process, trust each other, for clues to overcome them...

  11. Outcomes... Enthusing, equipping, energising... Communicating to the wider connexion... this is where we go from here... Have fun. Be expectant.
