  1. ORGANELLES OF THE CELL By: Connor Parrott, Connor Cunningham, and John Silveira

  2. VACUOLE

  3. VACUOLE • A vacuole is a organelle present in the cytoplasm of a cell • The vacuoles are small cavities that are able to carry waist out of the cell. • Store food, enzymes, and other materials needed by the cell

  4. VACUOLE • Plant cells contain a central vacuole • Central vacuoles typically occupy more than 30% of a plant cell • The Vacuole is like the place to store materials and waste in a factory

  5. VACUOLE(UNDER A MICROSCOPE)

  6. LYSOSOMES

  7. LYSOSOMES • A lysosome is a organelle that is a digestive structure for the cell • They are located throughout the cells cytoplasm • They digest the waste inside vacuoles

  8. LYSOSOMES • Plant & Animal cells contain lysosomes • Lysosomes are like the clean-up crew in a cell

  9. LYSOSOMES(UNDER A MICROSCOPE)
