Benefits of a District Club Program in Essex County Organization: District Club devotes all resources to Elite Player Development Consistency across all age groups (U12-U18) Financial stability More resources available to devote to elite player and coach development Coordinated travel arrangements Coordinated management arrangements (i.e. League memberships)

Benefits of a District Club Program in Essex County Facts & Figures of recent District Club benefits Since the start of WOYSL (L3), the figures are as follows for L3+: Essex County District Clubs: 28 teams in L3 or above Lambton Kent: 18 teams (all in L3) When a WOYSL division has contained both an Essex County District Club team and a Lambton Kent team, the ECSA District Club team has finished higher in the standings on every occasion. With a District Club in Essex County, opportunities are provided for players to compete against the more populous areas of Ontario (i.e. GTA), rather than to compete against each other locally.
