Unit Objectives: Study in Value Students will know- What is Value? Understand- Why is Value important? Do- Draw a ball of your choice showing value (two class periods to complete)
In this class period- Students will sketch a ping pong ball showing value. Students may choose which kind of lighting they would like from the three set up. (15 minuets) (50 points) Get with your table and answer: Table 1-What would happen if we did not have lights, darks or grays? Table 2- What if lights and darks were switched? Will any point of your ball be the same color? Table 3- How do we use the concept of value in our art work? Why?
