  3. Inuyasha is a half-demon. How can you tell? Dog Ears Fangs Sharp Claws

  4. How it all starts . . . • Inuyasha wants to be a full-demon, so he tries to steal a sacred jewel that will make him more powerful. • But a priestess shoots him with an enchanted arrow, pinning him to a tree where he lies in an unnatural sleep for 50 year. Poor guy . . .

  5. The Jewel is dangerous, it must be destroyed . . . The Priestess, Kikyo, was badly wounded from Inuyasha’s attack on the village where the jewel had been kept. But before she died she instructed her younger sister to burn the jewel along with her body so no other demons could ever get their hands on it.

  6. Back to a current time . . . A centipede demon drags fifteen-year-old Kagome into an ancient well, where she finds herself in the past. There she see Inuyasha, who’s apparently asleep and pinned to a tree.

  7. For some reason Kagome’s presence awakens Inuyasha, breaking the spell placed on him by Kikyo. However, the arrow still holds him firmly to the tree. As the centipede demon continues it’s attack it rips the sacred jewel, destroyed 500 years ago, from Kagome’s body! The demon swallowed the jewel! Now it’s more powerful than before! There’s no way Kagome can win now.

  8. Hey, can you pull out this arrow? Kagome is desperate, and Inuyasha convinces her to remove the arrow holding him down. Once free, Inuyasha makes short work of the centipede. But now that Kagome has the jewel back, he comes after her!
