What is Anime? • Anime is Japanese animation. The word anime is an abbreviation of the English word animation. • You can tell if what you are watching is anime by the drawing style of the show.
How does anime effect modern culture? • Anime has an effect on some of the fashion trends that flow through the main stream mainly in Japan • Anime has a large effect on events for anime fans known as anime conventions. Thousands of participants attend every year dressing in costumes of there favorite characters.
What Anime is best for Ages? • There are Anime for Young children to adults. • Most anime that are shown on T.V are appropriate for most ages. Some anime shown one day a week are the more gory anime that are appropriate for teenagers.
Chibi are mini child look alike anime. They are smaller and have more かわいい expressions/faces. What is chibi?
Some examples of young children anime are Pokemon, Bakugan and Digimon. Anime like these are the tame anime. Young Children Anime
Some examples of Teenage anime are Hellsing, Guyver and Gurren Laggan. Anime like these are the more gory and mild language ones. Teenage Anime

Fantasy anime is the most wide open type of anime due to the imagination of the producer. They range from pirate ships to spirit worlds. Fantasy Anime
