  4. NATIONAL COLLEGE FAIR February 6-7 David L. Lawrence Convention Center Guides to the College Fair are available in the Guidance Office

  5. There will be a MAPS meeting directly after school in the study area on Wednesday.

  6. Latin club will meet Tuesday February 12th after school in room 107. • You do not need to be taking Latin to join. • For more information see either Abby Annear or Ms. Day.

  7. Anyone interested in volunteering at Schenley Gardens this coming Wednesday, Feb. 6th, please stop by the campus ministry office to sign up.   • We'll be making Valentines with the residents and helping out with "mini-manicures."  

  8. COME OUT AND SUPPORT THE FBLA SPIRIT NIGHTAT CHICK-FIL-AMONROEVILLEON THURSDAY, FEB. 74:00 – 7:00 pm

  9. OC Softball • Open Gym Dates – Tuesday, February 5 and Monday, February 11. • There will be conditioning immediately after school and gym time following. • See Mr. Kornosky for more information.

  10. Freshman volleyball will begin on Monday February 11th.  See Mrs. Haslett or Mrs. Bielich to sign up and receive information.  

  11. The cheerleaders will be competing at Jamfest LIVE! on Saturday, February 9th at 11:30 am at the David L Lawrence Convention Center. Good Luck to our Cheerleaders!

  12. Chess News • On Thursday, The OC Queens host Gateway at 3:00.

  13. Congratulations to the PJAS first place award winners! • Alex De Lazio • Maria De Renzo • Colleen Doyle  • Claire Ozelek • Megan Wasson • These girls will represent our school at the State Competition in May!

  14. PJAS special award winner and perfect score winner Colleen Doyle received a Perfect Score and the Bayer Excellence Award Congratulations, Colleen!

  15. Special award winner at PJAS • Megan Wasson- three special awards • 6 year Perseverance Award • Pittsburgh Section of the American Chemical Society Award for Excellence in Chemistry and Biochemistry • Carnegie Mellon University Chapter of Sigma Xi High School Award. Congratulations, Megan!

  16. Students may pick up Semester I Art work between February 1 – February 8. • You will find the work on the table outside the lecture hall. • Any work not claimed by the end of the day of February 8 will not be available.
