Bottom Line Last Year • Waste Disposal Expense = 10,722.00/yr • (2) 4 yard bins • One dumped on W • Both dumped on F • Cost per student = 14.69 • Monthly savings to reduce 4 yards/week = $281.72 • Reduction in site expense = (3,380.64) • Proposed expense for waste disposal (2012-13) $7,341 This Year • Waste Disposal Expense = $3,380/yr • 68.5% decrease in waste and site cost • All Compost System – 1st secondary school to use • Harper is the model for all secondary schools in Yolo County
