Elements of anEffective New DAMS Access:User Experience • Integrate each collection’s content regardless of format/media • Contextualize each collection’s research value • Provide value-added materials • Promote user self-sufficiency • Develop user-interface that provides access to all of the above within the same window • Create a uniform user experience regardless of browser • Minimize browser plug-ins and/or add-ons
