Microsoft Office – Upgraded to Office 2003 Summer Changes • Email Upgrade -- See TRT with questions Sign up to attend training sessions via the Professional Development website or request training from your TRT • Internet Explorer – Upgraded to IE7 • Moodle - Upgraded and added Professional Development Server • Dedicated to staff development

  3. Online Survey • Technology survey lets your TRT know how to serve your specific needs for: • Training • Integration ideas http://techsurvey.montgomery.k12.va.us

Internet Safety Mandated by the Virginia Dept. of Education: • All teachers must integrate Internet safety into the curriculum – all classes and all grade levels • Use age-appropriate activities (K-12) and “teachable moments” • Resources are available at http://www.mcps.org/admin/Technology/TRTWebpage/index.htm • “Acceptable Use Policy” was revised to include: • Cyberbullying is prohibited; teachers need to report incidences to administrators • K-5 revised with age appropriate language
