  3. The Power Law • Many Blog behaviors follow the Power Law • Popularity of posts drop with a PL • Patterns in the shapes and sizes of cascades and blogs follow a PL • Most popular shape: “stars” • A single post with a several in-links, but none of the citing posts are themselves cited
