Uses • Beryllium: Sheets of beryllium foil are used with X-ray detection diagnostics. • Calcium is essential for human nutrition.
Uses • Magnesium & Strontium: The bright colors that both of these elements give off when they are burned make them great for fireworks.
Uses • Barium: Used for Glass making • Radium: Used for neon lighting
