Implementation of EUDAP Project Objective one • Long term follow up of the EUDAP cohort Objective two • The improvement of the ‘Unplugged’ package and the preparation of a more detailed ‘hand book’ for teacher to allow schools to implement the programme also with a reduced training. Objective three • To develop an ‘dissemination manual' useful to find ways to spread programs at a population level. Objective four • To assess the “dissemination manual” and to esteem the real effectiveness of the programme outside an experimental setting.
WP 4 - Long term follow-up Criteria to decide to carry out the 3° FU: • Definite rate of matched questionnaires • Residual results on program effectiveness from the 2° Follow up • Prognoses of centres about the success of the 3° Follow up
WP 5 - Review of the intervention manual • In revising manual the group should be aware on the risk of generate a different program that need to be re-evaluated • The monitoring the process data have to be published in a report together with the presentation of the program (before or after the publication of a corresponding scientific paper) • The parent arm can be kept in the manual as an option of the program but the peer arm is cancelled • Local groups should exploit the data on monitoring the process together with teacher comments • The group (Peer - the leader - Maria, Sarah, Maro, Serena or Roberta)
WP 6 - Dissemination manual • The WP6 deals with the field of “how to translate evidence into practise” and “how to design the implementation” • The working group have to be aware that schools and teachers level could overlap the intervention manual • The Manual should be general, not specific for the dissemination of Unplugged • Given the strong relationship with WP 7, it was decided to build a unique group
Preliminary meeting in Turin Decisions to be taken: • Criteria (e.g. which level, which base of evidence?) • Table of contents • Who writes what? Outline of Wp6 & Wp7 – Draft for discussion from Rosaria
WP 7 - Dissemination and Field Evaluation • The WP should describe and evaluate the actions of dissemination of Un-plugged by means of the Guidance (produced within the WP 6) • Object-aims • How (study design) • Where (population/centers) • Indicators (what do we want to find out) • The WP 6& 7 group will meet 3- 4 December 2006 in Thessaloniki • The group is composed by Rosaria (leading the WP 6) Maro (leading the WP 7), Sarah, Ewa, Karl, Serena, Federica, Leila, Roman
Timeline • Weeks 3: send to Torino the details of the activities of the WP • Month: 1-2 redefinition of budget • Month: 3-4: decision on 3° FU • Month 1-11: review and translate and print Intervention Manual • Month 1-12: Guidelines translated and printed • Month 1-12: design of the evaluation
