14. Touchy Feely Mystery Bags Student Directions: 1. Get the Touchy Feely bags from your teacher.2. Without looking, reach in one bag at time and feel inside.3. Draw or write on paper, what you think is in each bag.4. Give your paper to your teacher.5.Look in the bags to see what is in each one. Teacher Directions

15. Teacher Directions: Touchy Feely Bags DESCRIPTION: Students must reach into each bag one at a time and predict what they believe is inside. On a separate sheet of paper, he or she must then draw or write what they believe each bag contains. They must give the paper to the teacher when finished. Upon completion, the student may then go and look at the objects in each bag to see if their predictions were accurate or not. MATERIALS: Any number of “Touchy Feely” bags with different objects in each.(*Ideas include: seeds, coins, cotton, marbles etc…) NOTE: Bags may be located at a learning center or set location in the classroom.

16. Memory Game STUDENT DIRECTIONS: 1. Lay all the cards flat on the table, face down.2. Flip two cards over. 3. If they match, you take them, if they don’t, flip them back over and let the next person have a turn.*When it is your turn, try to remember where the cards were that matched. The game is over when all the cards are gone. Note to teacher: Purchase memory game from the store for this activity, or create your own.

17. Skittle Taste Test STUDENT DIRECTIONS:1. Get your bag of Skittles.2. Without looking, reach into the bag, take out one Skittle and eat it.3. On the Skittle worksheet, put a 1 next to the color/flavor you think you ate.4. Close your eyes, reach in and eat another Skittle. 5. Write a 2 on your worksheet next to the color/flavor you think you ate second. Do this for Skittle 3, 4 and 5 also. 6. Give the worksheet to your teacher when done.7. 18. Skittle Taste Test TEACHER DIRECTIONS: DESCRIPTION: Students must select the brown bag of Skittles with their name on it. They must reach into the bag and without looking, eat/taste one Skittle at a time. After eating each one, he/she must put the the corresponding number next to the Skittle. (If they feel they ate the orange colored/flavored Skittle first, then they would put a 1 next to the picture of that Skittle on the worksheet…..This must be done for all five Skittles.) MATERIALS:1. Skittles candy 2. Brown bags labeled with students names. (1 for each child) 3. Skittles taste test worksheet *Each bag should contain 5 Skittles. (1 of each color/flavor) NOTE: Before beginning this activity, students must be told to work with a partner so that their partner can keep track of the correct order in which they ate their Skittles. Their partner will then be able to tell them at the end of the taste test, if their guesses were accurate.

20. USING ALL 5 OF OUR SENSES Materials: *Five boxes containing various objects, and wrapped like gifts. (Objects may include: Jigsaw puzzle, popcorn, bar of soap, paper clips, container of paste.)*Pre-made chart to record student predictions on. Directions: Explain to class that they are going to try and guess what is in each box by using our five senses. Tell them that you will pass around one box at a time, and they are to use their senses to predict what they think is in each box. Next explain that they are not to talk until everyone has had a turn with box number one. Record their predictions on the pre-made chart.Now unwrap each present one at a time and discuss what senses were used to figure out what was in the box.
