  3. overview • The center has been established in 2006. • It provides diagnostic & therapeutic services to Sulaimanya Governorate (catchment population more than 1,500,000). • It serves as tertiary referral center to which the complicated cases from all over Iraq are being referred to (safe security situation). • The IBMS approved the KCGH as a postgraduate training center in 2008 with one student graduated . • The KBMS approved the KCGH as a postgraduate training center in 201 with 3 candidates included.
