  5. Stop Trying To Be Big, Loud and Out There! • Young People Come to Faith Through Friends • Most People Testify about 1 or 2 Significant People (usually adults) to shaping Faith in Them (Most Often, Not a Youth Leader) • Cripples Small Churches

  6. The Advantage Of A Small Church Is... • Cannot Run Large Attractive Programs • Unable to Employ Staff • Small Sometimes Non-Existent Youth Group • Deep Concern for Maintaining Youth Population

  7. The Advantage Of A Small Church Is.... • Intergenerational Community • Relational Discipleship • Outreach Necessary • Authentic Relationships WE ARE TRAPPED IN THE IDEA THAT YOUTH MINISTRY IS A PROGRAM!
