Facts about Colombian Empanadas • Colombian Empanadas are often used as a snack throughout Latin American countries. Empanadas have a lot of styles and ways to do it (depends of where it is made in.) Therefore I have chosen to do Colombian Style Empanadas. Empanadas are Colombian style Patties. Colombian Empanadas are not suitable for vegetarians this is because there is beef included in this recipe.
Recipe for Colombian Empanadas • Ingredients; Dough(Masa) • 25 grams of yellow cornmeal • 2 cups of water • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil • ½ teaspoon Salt • ½ tablespoon sazon Goya with azafran • Filling • 2 peeled potatoes • 1 chicken • 1 tablespoon of Olive Oil • 1 chopped onion • 1 chopped tomato • ½ teaspoon of salt • 1 chopped green onion • ½ chopped garlic • 1 tablespoon of coriander • 1 tablespoon chopped red pepper • ½ teaspoon black pepper • ½ pound ground pork and beef
