19And this is the testimony of John, when the Jews sent priests and Levites from Jerusalem to ask him, “Who are you?”19นี่เป็นคำพยานของยอห์น คือเมื่อพวกยิวส่งพวกปุโรหิตและพวกเลวีจากกรุงเยรูซาเล็มไปถามท่านว่า “ท่านคือผู้ใด”

21And they asked him, “What then? Are you Elijah?” He said, “I am not.” “Are you the Prophet?” And he answered, “No.” 21เขาทั้งหลายจึงถามว่า “ถ้าเช่นนั้นท่านเป็นใครเล่า ท่านเป็นเอลียาห์หรือ” ท่านตอบว่า “ข้าพเจ้าไม่ใช่เอลียาห์” “ท่านเป็นผู้เผยพระวจนะนั้นหรือ” และท่านตอบว่า “มิได้”

26John answered them, “I baptize with water, but among you stands one you do not know, 26ยอห์นได้ตอบเขาเหล่านั้นว่า “ข้าพเจ้าให้บัพติศมาด้วยน้ำ แต่มีพระองค์หนึ่งซึ่งประทับอยู่ในหมู่พวกท่านนั้น ท่านไม่รู้จัก

27even He who comes after me, the strap of whose sandal I am not worthy to untie.” 27พระองค์นั้นแหละมาภายหลังข้าพเจ้า แม้สายรัดฉลองพระบาทของพระองค์ ข้าพเจ้าก็ไม่บังควรที่จะแก้”

28These things took place in Bethany across the Jordan, where John was baptizing. 28เหตุการณ์นี้เกิดขึ้นที่หมู่บ้านเบธานีฟากแม่น้ำจอร์แดนข้างตะวันออก อันเป็นที่ซึ่งยอห์นกำลังให้บัพติศมาอยู่

Hebrews ฮีบรู9:22 22Indeed, under the law almost everything is purified with blood, and without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness of sins. 22ความจริงนั้นตามพระบัญญัติถือว่า เกือบทุกสิ่งจะบริสุทธิ์เพราะโลหิต และถ้าไม่มีโลหิตไหลออกแล้ว ก็จะไม่มีการอภัยบาปเลย

30This is He of whom I said, ‘After me comes a man who ranks before me, because He was before me.’ 30พระองค์นี้แหละที่ข้าพเจ้าได้กล่าวว่า 'ภายหลังข้าพเจ้า จะมีผู้หนึ่งเสด็จมาเป็นใหญ่กว่าข้าพเจ้า เพราะว่าพระองค์ทรงดำรงอยู่ก่อนข้าพเจ้า'

31I myself did not know Him, but for this purpose I came baptizing with water, that He might be revealed to Israel.” 31ข้าพเจ้าเองก็ไม่ได้รู้จักพระองค์ แต่เพื่อให้พระองค์ทรงเป็นที่ประจักษ์แก่พวกอิสราเอล ข้าพเจ้าจึงได้มาให้บัพติศมาด้วยน้ำ”

32And John bore witness: “I saw the Spirit descend from heaven like a dove, and it remained on him. 32และยอห์นกล่าวเป็นพยานว่า “ข้าพเจ้าเห็นพระวิญญาณเหมือนดังนกพิราบ เสด็จลงมาจากสวรรค์และทรงสถิตบนพระองค์

33I myself did not know Him, but He who sent me to baptize with water said to me, ‘He on whom you see the Spirit descend and remain, this is He who baptizes with the Holy Spirit.’

33ข้าพเจ้าเองไม่รู้จักพระองค์ แต่พระองค์ทรงใช้ให้ข้าพเจ้าให้บัพติศมาด้วยน้ำ ได้ตรัสกับข้าพเจ้าว่า 'เมื่อเจ้าเห็นพระวิญญาณเสด็จลงมาสถิตอยู่บนผู้ใด ผู้นั้นแหละเป็นผู้ให้บัพติศมาด้วยพระวิญญาณบริสุทธิ์'

34And I have seen and have borne witness that this is the Son of God.” 34และข้าพเจ้าก็ได้เห็นแล้วและได้เป็นพยานว่า พระองค์นี้แหละเป็นพระบุตรของพระเจ้า”

35The next day again John was standing with two of his disciples, 35รุ่งขึ้นอีกวันหนึ่งยอห์นกำลังยืนอยู่กับสาวกของท่านสองคน

36and he looked at Jesus as he walked by and said, “Behold, the Lamb of God!” 36และท่านมองดูพระเยซูขณะที่พระองค์ทรงดำเนินและกล่าวว่า “จงดูพระเมษโปดกของพระเจ้า”

Revelation วิวรณ์ 1:14-18 14The hairs of his head were white like wool, as white as snow. His eyes were like a flame of fire, 14พระเศียรและพระเกศาของพระองค์ขาวดุจขนแกะสีขาว และดุจหิมะและพระเนตรของพระองค์ดุจเปลวเพลิง

17When I saw Him, I fell at his feet as though dead. But He laid his right hand on me, saying, “Fear not, I am the first and the last,

17เมื่อข้าพเจ้าได้เห็นพระองค์ ข้าพเจ้าก็ล้มลงแทบพระบาทของพระองค์เหมือนกับคนที่ตายแล้ว แต่พระองค์ทรงแตะตัวข้าพเจ้าด้วยพระหัตถ์เบื้องขวา แล้วตรัสว่า “อย่ากลัวเลย เราเป็นเบื้องต้นและเป็นเบื้องปลาย

18and the living one. I died, and behold I am alive forevermore, and I have the keys of Death and Hades. 18และเป็นผู้ที่ดำรงชีวิตอยู่ เราได้ตายแล้ว แต่ นี่แน่ะ เราก็ยังดำรงชีวิตอยู่ตลอดไปเป็นนิตย์ และเราถือลูกกุญแจแห่งความตายและแห่งแดนคนตาย

Revelation 5:6-9 6And between the throne and the four living creatures and among the elders I saw a Lamb standing, as though it had been slain, with seven horns and with seven eyes, which are the seven spirits of God sent out into all the earth.

6และระหว่างพระที่นั่งกับสัตว์ทั้งสี่นั้น และท่ามกลางพวกผู้อาวุโส ข้าพเจ้าแลเห็นพระเมษโปดกประทับยืนอยู่ประหนึ่งทรงถูกปลงพระชนม์ พระเมษโปดกทรงมีเขาเจ็ดเขาและมีตาเจ็ดดวง ซึ่งเป็นวิญญาณทั้งเจ็ดของพระเจ้า ที่ทรงส่งออกไปทั่วแผ่นดินโลก

7And he went and took the scroll from the right hand of Him who was seated on the throne. 7และพระเมษโปดกนั้นได้เข้ามารับม้วนหนังสือจากพระหัตถ์เบื้องขวาของพระองค์ ผู้ประทับบนพระที่นั่งนั้น

8And when he had taken the scroll, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb, each holding a harp, and golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints.

8เมื่อพระองค์ทรงรับหนังสือนั้นแล้ว สัตว์ทั้งสี่กับผู้อาวุโสยี่สิบสี่คนนั้น ก็ทรุดตัวลงถวายบังคมพระเมษโปดก ทุกคนถือพิณและถือขันทองคำบรรจุเครื่องหอม ซึ่งเป็นคำอธิษฐานของธรรมิกชนทั้งปวง

9And they sang a new song, saying,“Worthy are you to take the scroll and to open its seals, for You were slain, and by your blood you ransomed people for God from every tribe and language and people and nation,

9และเขาทั้งหลายก็ร้องเพลงใหม่ ว่าดังนี้ “พระองค์ทรงเป็นผู้ที่สมควรจะทรงรับม้วนหนังสือ และแกะตราม้วนหนังสือนั้นออก เพราะว่าพระองค์ทรงถูกปลงพระชนม์แล้ว และด้วยพระโลหิตของพระองค์นั้น พระองค์ได้ทรงไถ่คนทุกเผ่า ทุกภาษา ทุกชาติและทุกประเทศเพื่อถวายแด่พระเจ้า

37The two disciples heard him say this, and they followed Jesus. 37สาวกสองคนนั้นได้ยินท่านพูดเช่นนี้ เขาจึงติดตามพระเยซูไป

38Jesus turned and saw them following and said to them, “What are you seeking?” And they said to him, “Rabbi” (which means Teacher), “where are you staying?”

38พระเยซูทรงเหลียวกลับมาและเห็นเขาตามพระองค์ไป จึงตรัสถามเขาว่า “ท่านหาอะไร” และเขาทั้งสองทูลพระองค์ว่า “รับบี (ซึ่งแปลว่าอาจารย์) ท่านอยู่ที่ไหน”

39He said to them, “Come and you will see.” So they came and saw where He was staying, and they stayed with Him that day, for it was about the tenth hour. 39พระองค์ตรัสตอบเขาว่า “มาดูเถิด” เขาก็ไปและเห็นที่ซึ่งพระองค์ทรงพำนัก และวันนั้นเขาก็ได้พักอยู่กับพระองค์ เพราะขณะนั้นประมาณสี่โมงเย็นแล้ว

40One of the two who heard John speak and followed Jesus was Andrew, Simon Peter's brother. 40คนหนึ่งในสองคนที่ได้ยินยอห์นพูดและได้ติดตามพระองค์ไปนั้น คืออันดรูว์น้องชายของซีโมนเปโตร

41He first found his own brother Simon and said to him, “We have found the Messiah” (which means Christ). 41แล้วอันดรูว์ก็ไปหาซีโมนพี่ชายของตนก่อน และบอกเขาว่า “เราได้พบพระเมสสิยาห์แล้ว” (ซึ่งแปลว่าพระคริสต์)

42He brought him to Jesus. Jesus looked at him and said, “So you are Simon the son of John? You shall be called Cephas” (which means Peter).

42อันดรูว์จึงพาซีโมนไปเฝ้าพระเยซู พระเยซูทรงทอดพระเนตรเขาแล้วจึงตรัสว่า “ท่านคือซีโมนบุตรยอห์นซีนะ เขาจะเรียกท่านว่าเคฟาส” (ซึ่งแปลว่าศิลา)

43The next day Jesus decided to go to Galilee. He found Philip and said to him, “Follow Me.” 43รุ่งขึ้นพระเยซูตั้งพระทัยจะเสด็จไปยังแคว้นกาลิลี พระองค์ทรงพบฟีลิปจึงตรัสกับเขาว่า “จงตามเรามา”

44Now Philip was from Bethsaida, the city of Andrew and Peter. 44ฟีลิปมาจากเบธไซดาเมืองของอันดรูว์และเปโตร

45Philip found Nathanael and said to him, “We have found Him of whom Moses in the Law and also the prophets wrote, Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph.”

45ฟีลิปไปหานาธานาเอลบอกเขาว่า “เราได้พบพระองค์ผู้ที่โมเสสได้กล่าวถึงในหนังสือธรรมบัญญัติ และที่พวกผู้เผยพระวจนะได้กล่าวถึง คือ พระเยซู ชาวนาซาเร็ธบุตรโยเซฟ”

46Nathanael said to him, “Can anything good come out of Nazareth?” Philip said to him, “Come and see.” 46นาธานาเอลถามเขาว่า “สิ่งดีอันใดจะมาจากนาซาเร็ธได้หรือ” ฟีลิปตอบว่า “มาดูเถิด”
