ICT VENTUREGATEObjectives Provide tools to help SMEs succeed in the financial marketplace by Profiling the financing needs of ICT SMEs that have participated in FP6 and FP7 Profiling the needs and interests of investors in ICT and learning how they perceive FP SMEs Helping those SMEs bridge the gap to Investors by helping them prepare their investment proposals Ensure series of effective brokerage events

ICTVG -Tools Database of ICT SMEs & Investors, based on questionnaires developed with ICT FM Virtual brokerage platform on the ICT VG project website (over 230 profiles!) e-Training tools on investment readiness, for SMEs Case studies of FP ICT SMEs successful in achieving private funding SMEs’ Guide to EU risk capital financing

ICTVG -EXPECTED RESULTS • Understanding the profile of ICT investors and SMEs • key characteristics, investment behavior, issues and perceptions  feed insights into EC funding schemes and sector relevant discussion fora • A sustainable online training and brokerage tool (Web-based Platform) • Number of investment ready proposals by ICT SMEs in place, possibly with identified investors
