Current Stockage Levels • Carry over 12K resale line items • Stock over 9,590 items brought in from USA • More than 7,680 dry; 1,290 freeze; 620 chill • Added additional 115 chill items • Plus Direct Store Delivery (DSD) items, one-time buys, shippers, local items, club packs & seasonal/holiday items • Plus meat, produce & deli/bakery products • During FY08 added over 1,200 new items • FY09 thru June added over 630 new items • Considerations • Sales history & demand, product shelf life, CDC space constraints, customer input, cost & promotional activity, store size, manufacturer & food broker support Bottom Line: - Food industry dynamic business - Ongoing process to achieve right mix DeCA Europe

New Initiatives in FY09 • Fresh seafood • Organic produce • WIC-Overseas now includes fresh produce • Bison meat • Vitamin swap • Gluten-free soy products expanding • Stars and Stripes Military Mom's page on web • Kay's Kitchen online expanded • New theme & new recipes each week • 2 weekly radio shows on AFN • Friday afternoon on AM "Clueless Guys Can Cook" • Monday morning on FM "Kay's Kitchen on the Radio" DeCA Europe

Bags for a Green Environment • Started in Nov 07 with 1 bag • Now carry variety of 6 bags • Keep Cool Thermal • Plastic Carrier • Savvy Saver Regular, Large, Thermal & Canvas • Total sales of $325,958 since start of program • Total savings from reduction in non-environmentally friendly bags: $90K! DeCA Europe

Some Numbers to Consider • Organic products • Sales increased 27% from Jun 07 to Jun 08; and 14% from Jun 08 to Jun 09 • Product selection increased from 213 to 247 items in 2008 and from 247 to 285 in 2009 • WIC-O products • Number of transactions increased by over 782K from FY08 to FY09 • Bison – introduced this year with sales over $138K • Lakudia Olives – introduced this year with sales over $75K DeCA Europe
