Avantis.PRO/GIS Interface • GIS significantly enhance a CMMS by providing the ability to access, use, display, and manage spatial data. • Avantis.GIS provides solution for facilitating the seamless integration between GIS and Avantis.PRO. It provides a generic interface between the Avantis.PRO and the ESRI ArcGIS IPS Confidential

Avantis.GIS – Required Core Functionalities • The Core functional objectives for Avantis.GIS are: • Provide near real-time integration between Avantis.PRO work management and ESRI ArcGIS Desktop and ESRI ArcGIS Server • Ability to define rules for maintaining, updating/synchronizing attributes on assets in GIS that are updated as a result of maintenance activities in work management. • Ability to create assets in GIS and have these assets available in work management for maintenance activities • Ability to initiate work management activities (work order/service request) from a map IPS Confidential

Avantis.GIS - Core Functionalities • Ability to select assets via an interactive map, display and filter the related maintenance transactions and historical data • Ability to query, view, and report on work management activities and assets from the map • From work management, the ability to select a location/structure and geospatially display the location/structure on a map • Ability to select structures geospatially, and link them to a service request and/or work order. Usability Requirements • A number of critical success factors are in consideration for this project: • Ease of Use – This applies on two fronts, where both are equally important, the administration and configuration side as well as the business or management of end-users. This solution must provide clear, intuitive interfaces that leverage current graphical and visualization technologies. • Full Contextualization –Avantis GIS solution requires the ability to use data from a GIS Service provider such as ESRI, within the customer's environment, for the purpose of associating and providing integrated solution.
