We are going to make a Johnny Appleseed Costume after reading an Johnny Appleseed book. You will need, - scissors - markers - construction paper - glue Thursday
Make a Johnny Appleseed hat. - first create the hat piece by using construction paper, and forming a circle. Then we will add an handle to make it a pot. Once you have all created your hats, I will pass out the cut out apple’s and you need to write your name on the apple. You can decorate it any way you would like.
Present our costume and Johnny Appleseed activities from the week to our Principal, Mrs. Mayes. I will assign who will show their apple poems and who will display their graphic organizers to Mrs. Mayes. During Science, we will plant apple seeds, in small containers, and I the line leader for the day will be in charge of watering the seeds. Friday
