Primary Purposes of Adult Programs • To encourage continuous growth and development of individuals • To assist people in responding to practical problems in adult life • To prepare people for current and future work opportunities • To assist organizations in achieving desired results/adapting to change • To provide opportunities to examine community & societal issues
What programs do adults need? • In table groups, spend 15 minutes coming up with at least three program examples for each of the previous purposes of adult programs. One of the examples can be military, the rest must be civilian.
