David Essex contents David Essex was born on the 23rd of July, 1947. David is a pop singer/songwriter who has 19 top 40 singles in the U.K including 2 at number 1 and 16 top 40 albums and he is also an actor, some of his top hits were ‘Rock on’ and ‘gonna make you a star’. When he was a kid he went to Star Lane Primary School and he loved playing football, he wanted to be a professional football player and he was a member of the west ham united F.C.
pong Pong was invented by Allan Alcorn an Atari inc. Engineer released in 1972 which was one of the first popular video/ arcade games. Pong is a 2 dimensional tennis like video game where the aim of the game is to earn more points than their opponent. To win points you have to hit the pong ball past the other player. contents
Red dog The movie Red dog is about the life story of a dog who gets around by hitch-hiking and has no owner until he finds his true owner John who sadly dies. It is based on a true story but the movie is not fully true but many events were true like becoming part of the transporting union and also how he travelled West Australia and South Australia Red dog is a movie for the family 9/10 for me. contents
William Dampier William Dampier was born in August 1651 in East Coker, he was a theft and buccaneer who was one of the first English man to discover New Holland/ Australia and New Guinea. When he discovered Australia he thought it was horrible it was baron and the aboriginals he thought they had no government infact no civilisation, no animals he thought they were miserable so he left William died in 1715 when he was 63. contents
Music era comparison Two AC DC songs ‘Its a long way to the top’ from 1975 and ‘Rock and Roll train’ from 2008 don't sound much different even though there are new people in the band because they have passed away. In the 70`s they had many compilation albums which are many different popular songs put onto an album which is still popular for example so fresh. Long way to the top Rock n roll train
