Restarts & Set Pieces The 8 Restarts: 1) Kick Off 2) Goal Kick 3) Corner Kick 4) Drop Ball 5) Throw In 6) Direct Free Kick 7) Indirect Free Kick 8) Penalty Kick
Restarts & Set Pieces Kickoff Starts the game at the beginning of each half, or after a goal is scored. Goal Kick Restarts the game when a player from the attacking team kicks the ball over the defending goal line. Corner Kick Restarts the game after the ball is played over the goal line by the defending team.
Restarts & Set Pieces Drop Ball Restarts the game when the referee stops the game for any reason and does not use one of the other restarts.
