Another rule for using capitulation • One other way you use capitulation is with proper nouns. - specific people or things - specific geographic locations - historical events - days of the week, months and holidays. - races, nationalities, religions, and languages - brand names

A third rule for capitalization • Capitalize a title or an abbreviation of a title when it comes before a person’s name or when it is used instead of a name. Also capitalize the names and abbreviations of academic degrees that follow a person’s name. Capitalize Jr. and Sr.
