  1. The Ruby grave! By Bethany Abbott-Bailey and Jake Bartels

  2. School has finished when a gang of boys stop you in your path! They drag you by the neck and chuck you in front of them and you notice they are the bad bullies of school!! “Hey loser” smirked the school bullies, “I bet you couldn’t be brave enough to get the precious ruby from the most haunted church’s graveyard on Dead Man’s Hill? If you do then I promise that you will become the most popular boy in school!” You think for a few seconds and tremble at the word ‘Dead Mans Hill.' After listening to their demanding voice you nod shyly and you know that if you don’t do what they say you will be the god of wimps! Do you: Take the dare? Or not?

  3. You agree with the dare and rush off with your bike. You take a pack of batteries, torch and your left over history book from school that morning. Suddenly you feel fear over coming you and you realise that is because you have arrived at your final destination (the deadly church.) Creeping around the entrance to the church you spy red eyes! For all you know the eyes are the only light ! You reach into your back pack and turn on your torch then you point it at the eyes! They scurried out of your path nudging open the gate. It’s was mysterious but the entrance was now clear. DO YOU: Enter the gate? or find another way?

  4. Now you walk in the gate. Every grave you see is emerging and zombies appear. You are scared for your life. You see one of them with one arm and next to one grave you see a blood stained samurai and dagger. You are nervously wondering what to do. • DO YOU: • TAKE THE DAGGER • OR THE SAMURAI

  5. You walk up towards the gloomy, dark church. Zombies emerge from every grave. You grab your Samura sword swishing it through the misty atmosphere. You lash out furiously. Zombies black blood gushes everywhere. Suddenly with your heart thumping the ground trembles and a monster zombie appears . You freeze in horror and think you are going to die! Your throat closes you feel your lungs are frozen solid you can’t breathe. DO YOU: SWING YOUR SAMURA LEFT OR SWING YOUR SAMURA RIGHT

  6. Resolution You have successfully killed every zombie including the boss! With surprise a zombie, in a puddle of blood, attracts you and you you find a note with a riddle that says : ‘ I am left but right forward but back where is the ruby grave?’ • Is it the centre or leftor right grave?

  7. Right resolution • You are correct, it is the centre grave. As you approach it, it fills the sky with beautiful light! The ruby appears.  • Congratulations you have completed you quest. You run home with the ruby in your pocket. Tomorrow is the day of being popular!!!

  8. You stand up to the boy’s and tell them “NO!” SUDDENLY they strike back and all your friends realise you are not much more than a scaredy cat. They betray you for not being tough enough to adventure the church yard and retrieve the ruby from the grave to make you popular. Because of your foolishness you will never be seen as a friend again!  Start over?

  9. Sweat trickles down the pours of your face. You don’t feel confident enough to enter so you snoot around clueless for another way to get into the church. From the corner of your eye you spot a moving shadow with an axe prepared to kill someone. He spots you when you spot him!! A strike from the axe misses you by an inch but the second time went just right and you get sliced into pieces! You, unfortunately, get fed to the vicious wolves. YOUR ADVENTURE IS OVER AND THE LAST THING YOU SAW WAS A BLOOD DRIPPING JAW ABOUT TO TEAR YOU TO SHREDS!! 

  10. You chose the dagger. But unfortunately it is not strong enough. You charge at a zombie dagger in arm. As you strike at him, he bites into your shoulder, leaving it poring with blood ! Suddenly you are being closed in by toilet papered zombies .They devour your brains and the insides of you leaving only your skull and bones! Your life and quest is over !!!

  11. Wrong choice events You swing fiercely with your sword using your left hand. Sweat dribbles down your wrist making your hand slimy and slippery. Your sword slips out of your hand slicing through your veins. Blood squirts covering you in thick layers of ruby red liquid. Your life is draining away, you are feeling wounded and weak. Your human life is now in hell. Ha ha ha now you are in your doom.

  12. Wrong choice resolution • Unfortunately you realise you have never used your left hand at using a samurai sword! You miss and the evil claws of the zombies scrape your face and you never see daylight again!! • YOUR MISSION IS OVER!!
