  1. The Asset Inventory Management module assists with data collection and discovery management processes. Collected information is interpreted and automatically updates a central Microsoft SQL database. This module comprises of the following components:

  2. The Classic View will allow you to view all machines collected. Detailed information is available and the grid can be sorted and grouped as preferred.

  3. The AD Scan and Reload Last AD Scan will populate your network computers into the database. Computers that have been imported will be flagged as green.

  4. Import Asset Register allows you to import an existing asset register, in csv format. After a successful import - the Asset column will be flagged green to indicate which machines were imported manually.

  5. The IP Base List feature allows you to only import a specified IP Range – and not the entire AD list on your network.

  6. Online Query performs a check of which machines are online. If online, the IP column will be flagged green.

  7. The WMI (Windows Management Interface) Scan will report on all hardware device information.

  8. Collection Services allows you to perform Services or Scheduled Services to initiate tasks for collection.

  9. Device Scans allow you to perform Remote Search functionalities, Remote Management or Remote Connection. In this example a WMI folder/file search was performed.

  10. User Management allows you to query the Active Directory for user information.

  11. Changed History will indicate any changes for hardware or software on machines.

  12. The Scheduler allows you to set-up predefined tasks for collections.

  13. A comprehensive set of easy to view reports that can be exported to MS Excel is available.
