Women’s Suffrage. By: Fion and jenny. Why do women’s get arrested when they vote?. Because at 1900’s women's were not allowed to vote like men's. When women's want the equal right as the men they go and vote and when the women's vote they get arrested.

Why do women’s get arrested when they vote? • Because at 1900’s women's were not allowed to vote like men's. • When women's want the equal right as the men they go and vote and when the women's vote they get arrested. • Some of the women's that got arrested is Susan B. Anthony and her friend Elizabeth Cady Station and more. • A lot of women’s came from different country to the a new country and they can’t vote at the new country when they get every mad they go and try to vote and they get arrested.

When did Women suffrage start and end? • The movement in Great Britain began with Chartism but it until 1851 that a resolution in favor of female suffrage was presented in the House of lord by the earl of Carlyle. John Stuart mill was the most influential of the Britainadvocates his subjection of women 1869 is one of the earliest as well as most famous arguments for the right of women to vote.

  5. What happened during the women suffrage? • The time of the women’s suffrage many women have suffered. • Women were protesting and they couldn’t vote. • If the women voted in that time they would get arrested. • Women had a hard time living back then.

  6. What rights did the women get after their suffrage? • Women from all over the world have the rights to vote, and are equal to men. • This is the cause of the nineteenth amendment. • Women now can work and have the ability to support themselves.
