OBJECTIVES Objective 1 Complete the development of the captivating website and launch it by February 2012. The website will provide maximum valuable content to sufferers, Health Care professionals, researchers, corporate partners and members of the public. Promotional publication that says all: • Make the website search engine optimized • Provide details on all activities and services (events, fundraising, volunteering etc) • Answer web visitors’ queries • Provide for downloading of relevant materials
Objective 2 Increase interactivity between the charity, existing and potential stakeholders by 100%, within the next three months, through active use of Facebook, Twitter, Ebay, LinkedIn, YouTube, MySpace and Blogging. • Social networking sites are near-zero cost powerful platforms for: • Spreading information and awareness about services • Facilitating ‘conversations’ and publicizing events and causes • Maximising donations
Objective 3 • Generate one press release every month in the national media and publish a monthly newsletter and …. Magazine to help create awareness of Allergy UK’s services with existing and potential sufferers, their families, corporate partners, health institutions and the general public. • Effective for: • Telling news stories • Publicizing fundraising events • Updating stakeholders about ongoing and complete research projects • and findings
