  1. How to make puppy chow Kara Charbonneau

  2. What you need • 10 Cups Chex Cereal • 3/4 Cup Creamy Peanut Butter • 1 Cup Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips • ¼ Cup Butter • 1 ½ Cups Powered Sugar • 2 Gallon Sized Ziploc Bags • Large Mixing Bowl • Medium Sized Sauce Pan

  3. Getting Started • Measure all of your ingredients out. • Set them aside to be used at a later time.

  4. Warming It Up • In a medium sauce pan over low heat, combine chocolate chips, peanut butter, and milk. • Stir consistently until everything is melted together. • Put cereal in the large mixing bowl, and pour the melted mixture over the cereal.

  5. Mixing it up • With a rubber mixing spoon, stir the chocolate and cereal until all the cereal is coated in the mixture. • Divide the coated cereal in half and put an equal amount into each bag.

  6. Shaking it up • With the chocolate covered cereal in 2 separate bags, pour an equal amount of powdered sugar into each bag as well. • Zip both bags, and shake until the powdered sugar is evenly coating all the cereal

  7. Finishing it up • If this is a gift, evenly distribute the puppy chow into decorative bags, and tie off with a bow. • Enjoy!
