  3. - eMAC: eMentoring the Accession Countries in the eTEN Programme - submitted in September 2003 - eTEN-Support Action - Duration: 14 months (March 22nd-May 22nd) - 4 partners: FFG (AT), CSI (AT), Innova (IT) Zenit (DE) - Co-ordination: FFG - Budget: approx. 350.000 € - EU Contribution: approx: 300.000 € eMAC Key facts

  4. - Effective network of NCPs for the eTen Programme in the NMS - Enhance the networking of all eTEN NCPs and support the integration of the new NCPs - To assess and improve NMS NCPs working methods and stimulate NCP working - Train the NCPs on topics of the eTEN programme using innovative eLearning Methods - Disseminate best practice examples of eTen projects and successful eTen service initiatives in Europe Objectives of eMAC

  5. - Training the new NCPs on the eTEN Programme with workshops and eLearning methods - Running 4 networking workshops with different eTEN topics according to NCPs needs - Create a website, promoting and disseminating eMAC results: www.emac-eten.net - Strengthening and developing the co-operation and networking between all NCPs - Creating best practices and suggestions for successful NCP work in form of a handbook Main activities of eMAC

  6. National Contact Point = national entity nominated by each Member State Member State has the responsibility for organisational structure of its NCP system Major Task: to inform and assist potential participants and contractors in eTEN Principles of NCPs

  7. Informing, awareness raising - Circulation of general/specific documentation on eTEN and relationship with other EC programmes - Organisation of promotional activities in liaison with EC services (e.g. infodays, Websites, seminars) - Raising awareness for EC objectives, other EC programmes and complementary funding mechanisms Principles of NCPs/Tasks

  8. Advising, assisting and training - Advising on administrative procedures and contractual issues (e.g. consortium, costs) - Assisting in partner search - Assisting organisations, in particular new actors and SMEs Signposting - Giving feedback to Commission about problems and difficulties in implementing and participating in eTEN programme Principles of NCPs

  9. - Creation and evaluation of 2 questionnaires(to get information about the NMS NCPs) - Creation of the eLearing- and workshop content according the needs of the NCPs Actions been done

  12. - 3rd Workshop (12./13.April 2005) Topics: Benchmarking, Presentation of worst/best practice from NCPs - 4th Workshop (12./13. May 2005) Topics: Presentation of each Member State (country profile, eTEN best practice projects) - Mentoring session: open for all NCPs Future activities

Open up the eMAC cooperation network to all eTEN NCPs in all EU member -Offering regular trainings for new team members in in NCPs -Exchange of information about national programmes for e-solutions in other EU member - Development of a database for apartnersearch for eTEN projects -Organisation of joint info days und partnering events PlannedFuture activities

  14. - Professional consulting service in the phase of creating project ideas and proposal writing by NCPs - Contact persons with detailed knowledge about programme content, objectives, funding conditions, etc. - Mediation of international project partnersvia personal contacts among NCPs members Benefit for People interested in eTEN
