  3. Internet ( Net) • Largest and far flung network system-of-all-systems. • a global system of interconnected computer networks that use the standard internet protocol suite (TCP/IP).

  4. Education • Is a form of learning in which the knowledge, skills, and habits of a group of people are transferred from one generation to the next through teaching, training, or research.

  5. The internet could be a very positive step towards education, organization and participation in a meaningful society. Noam Chomsky

  6. The Internet is the most important single development in the history of human communication since the invention of call waiting. Dave Barry

  7. The internet is not really a network but a loosely organized collection of about 25,000 network access by computers on the planet.

  8. To gain access to the Internet , the computer must be equipped with what is called a Server which has a special software(program) that uses internet protocol.

  9. Getting around the Net The most attractive way to move around the internet is called Browsing.
