2. Comparisons • Today we are going to learn about making comparisons. • How things are alike and how they are different. • By the end of the lesson we will be able to make comparisons on our own.

6. Another way to organize your comparisons is using a Venn diagram. . Venn Diagram

7. Venn Diagram • A Venn diagram is made up of two circles overlapping each other. • Each circle is labeled for the items that you are comparing. In these circles you write what makes that item different and special. • In the middle you write the ways in which the items are the same.
