  2. What landscape archaeologists do? • Landscape Archaeologists are a type of archaeologist that search for remains of ancient ruins of civilization • They look for various items that show civilization was once there

  3. Why I would like to be a landscape archaeologist • I was at a very early age fascinated by ancient civilization and then after that my love for history just grew as I would find out more • I would dig in dirt find rocks and other materials • I also love to travel meet new people

  4. Education & training • Most standard Archaeologists must have a bachelor’s, master’s, or doctoral degree • Higher Archaeologists mostly have master’s and doctoral degrees

  5. Yearly Salary • The yearly total salary of a landscape archaeologist depends on what area they are working in • The pay could be anywhere from 44,000 to145,000 depending on the area where you are working and what you are doing

  6. Sacramento state College &famous archaeologists • I would like to attend to the Sacramento State college because I really love the area • Robert Ballard was a deep sea diver and archaeologist who helped discover the titanic • Howard Carter was an archaeologist who helped uncover the tomb of king Tutankhamen

  7. Working conditions • Landscape archaeologists travel a lot to different places to search for remains of civilization • Landscape archaeologists work in all types of climate so they have to be able to adapt to their current climate and gear and then leave and continue on with their job

  8. Why archaeologists are important • Without archaeologists we wouldn’t know about are past as much as we do now • We wouldn’t know who were once our rulers wars that have occurred • Archaeologists help us learn from the past so we don’t make the same mistakes again

  9. Other types of archaeologists • There are other types of archaeologists too • The archaeological excavator finds the remains • There is a finds curator , they store the remains that the excavator finds remains of humans
