  1. You may write on the test. No calculators are allowed The test will take 70 minutes. Name: Last name, First Name Subject: To be considered for placement in Calculus II or higher, write TAMS 1720 To be considered for placement in Calculus I, write TAMS 1710 If you prefer to be placed into Precalculus, write TAMS 1650 Date: Write today's date. Period: Write your ID number. Just below the Date and Period lines, please write the name of the last math course you took and the grade you received. Also, if you believe there are special circumstances that the Math Department should know before placing you for the Fall, please write them in that area as well. Further placement tests will be conducted on after Move-In for students who wish to be placed in Calculus II or higher. Eligible students will receive more information about these during the summer. Please see Dr. Quintanilla of the Math Department if you have any placement questions.
