To be submitted to Florida DoEd. • NSF Proposal submitted by UCF. Dr. Anya Andrews PI, Dr. Richard Hartshorne Co-PI.NCS and Michelee Puppets partners. • Attended Junior Achievement breakfast at Oak Ridge HS
Committee Actions and Events (Continued) • Mentors working at Legacy Middle School’s STEM Program. Hank briefed 250 Middle School students at LMS. NCS/NDIA donated $300 each to support program. • Briefed NAWCTSD Personnel for Engineers Week. • Met with representatives from Legoland • Participated in Crooms techFEST. UCF/IST in NCS booth • Moderated Session at Florida Engineering Education Conference on 26 April 2013 * Planning NCS 20th Birthday with series of events: Lou Frey Institute Seminar, Hall of Fame Inductees and Celebration
