  2. Continued to work with NDIA : 1) mentor program with Legacy Middle School and 2) M&S Teacher Seminar planned for 25-26 September 2013. “Virtual Internship Project” White Paper submitted to ONR with DoDEA School as experiment in Guam Committee Actions and Events

  3. Committee Actions and Events (Continued) • Participated in STEM Alliance initiative, led by Orlando Science Center. • High School M&S framework being worked by SCPS. To be submitted to Florida DoEd. • NSF Proposal submitted by UCF. Dr. Anya Andrews PI, Dr. Richard Hartshorne Co-PI.NCS and Michelee Puppets partners. • Attended Junior Achievement breakfast at Oak Ridge HS

  4. Committee Actions and Events (Continued) • Mentors working at Legacy Middle School’s STEM Program. Hank briefed 250 Middle School students at LMS. NCS/NDIA donated $300 each to support program. • Briefed NAWCTSD Personnel for Engineers Week. • Met with representatives from Legoland • Participated in Crooms techFEST. UCF/IST in NCS booth • Moderated Session at Florida Engineering Education Conference on 26 April 2013 * Planning NCS 20th Birthday with series of events: Lou Frey Institute Seminar, Hall of Fame Inductees and Celebration
