Project 3: Recommendation ReportProblem  Solution • Rec reports identify/define a problem • known or unknown to audience • Discuss criteria for solution (based on real audience needs) • Analyze possible solutions (research) • Also may compare current thing to possible new things • Compare possible solutions • Forward one solution • Recommend plan for implementation

  2. P3 Topic Selection • Must be a REAL, knowable problem or situation • If it isn’t really a problem, don’t do it. • Must be a REAL, knowable audience • Audience must be able to implement solution • May have to guess at some parameters

P3 Topic Selection • Problem must be researched/supported • Can you find data to support existence? • Must have more than one possible solution (3-5 is recommended) • Solutions must be comparable • Criteria set by audience (or assume likely criteria) • Must be of appropriate “scale” – expect to write 5-10 content pages
