  3. The World We don’t know enough The Solution? Education The Bible We aren’t good enough Rom. 3:23 The Solution? Surrender of our wills to the lordship of Christ through the Holy Spirit What’s Our Problem?

  4. Educational Model • 3 realms of learning: • Knowledge • Skill • Character • Learning is acquired from teachers • Ideas are inserted into the mind • Learners should apply new ideas to problematic situations to achieve more desirable outcomes

  5. Some examples… • Math • Homosexual movement • Racism • Environmentalism • Bible stories

  6. QBQ: Definition • How do you know if you’ve learned? If you haven’t… CHANGED, You haven’t… LEARNED.

  14. A New Kind of People • Make decisions from God’s perspective and His values • So they operate out of a framework of “doing love” • As these decisions are made over and over in an atmosphere of correction, love becomes our character, who we are rather than just what we do
