Presentation Need: Parent/Teacher Night Presentation • The presentation must include an introduction of the teacher as well as information about the class being taught including the syllabus. • The graphics necessary for this presentation will be a picture of the teacher at the Continental Divide, which is a vocabulary word and essential knowledge for students (SOL 2c). • I obtained this image by using a Panasonic Lumix digital camera and saving the file as a jpeg. The software used is Microsoft Picture Manager.

Presentation Need: Parent/Teacher Night Presentation • The presentation must include an introduction of the teacher as well as information about the class being taught including the syllabus. • The graphics necessary for this presentation will be a scanned copy of the syllabus. • I scanned this image from a hard copy. I used a Brother MFC- 495CW Printer/Scanner. The file is saved as a jpeg and used Microsoft Picture Manager software.

Presentation Need: First Day of School • This presentation must introduce the teacher as well as behavior expectations. • The graphic is a picture of the work required of students as a consequence of bad behavior. • I scanned this image from a hard copy. I used a Brother MFC- 495CW Printer/Scanner. The file is saved as a jpeg and used Microsoft Picture Manager software.

Presentation Need: First Day of School • This presentation must introduce the teacher as well as behavior expectations. • The graphic describes the “ring” system in the classroom and describes behavior expectations of the classroom. • I created this graphic in conjunction with other teachers on my team. We use SMART software (which contains draw tools). We then copied the image into a PowerPoint presentation which automatically saves the slide as a jpeg and creates a graphic.

  6. Presentation Need: Archaeology Discovery • This graphic needs to demonstrates artifacts found by archaeologists in the Badlands region of the United States. • I used a Panasonic Lumix digital camera to take this picture. The file is saved as a jpeg and the software used was Microsoft Picture Manager. • This picture will be used to help students understand how archaeologists dig into the ground to find artifacts from the past.
