Confronting clinical evolution of HCV and HIV (D Berger: Contagion: 2005; 2:365-6) • Swiss cohort study showed increased incidence of HCV coinfection from collected data of > 1500 HIV+ men having sex with men; no injection drug use in this cohort. • Gotz et al describe case series of HIV+ MSMs showing 41% seroconversions to HCV; parenteral risk factors and injection drug use were excluded.
