2003 AIR-NCES SENIORFELLOWSHIP: EVALUATION OF IPEDS FIRST PROFESSIONAL DEGREE DATA
ABOUT THE PROJECT THE Senior Fellowship is an annual project that will improve the Integrated Postsecondary Data System (IPEDS) process, data collection, data use, or data dissemination. A maximum of $110,000 is available to the selected Fellow for salary replacement, support, and travel expenses for projects that may span up to one calendar year.
THE 2003 FELLOWSHIP PROJECT WILL: • result in recommendations for improving the efficiency and effectiveness of the collection and use of IPEDS data on first-professional degrees (see http://nces.ed.gov/ipeds/index.html for more information) • address the ways in which the current IPEDS categories may be modified, expanded, contracted, or eliminated
APPLICATIONS NOW BEING ACCEPTED PROPOSALS will be accepted until June 30, 2003, for work starting no later than September 1, 2003. The Request for Proposals is available on the AIR web site athttp://www.airweb.org/page.asp?page=41
